Rolls-Royce, “A Century of Style” includes all the models of the legendary brand built between 1910 and 1998. Many of these cars were used in their day by maharajahs, Hollywood stars and numerous other celebrities.
A spectacular selection of Rolls-Royce cars belonging to the Miguel de la Vía – Torre Loizaga collection will be seen, for the first time, at the Euskalduna Conference Centre from December 15 to January 8.
The exhibition will address, on the one hand, the story of the Ochoa García de Loizaga family and of the founder of the museum, the late businessman Miguel de la Vía, the person that set up Europe’s only collection of Rolls-Royces built between 1910 and 1918.
On the other, the most spectacular cars of this collection will deliver a linear chronological presentation of vehicles built in the course of the above mentioned decades.
The exhibition will showcase several periods of the history of cars and how they influenced society and culture at different points in time. The exhibition, therefore, will depict a number of scenarios and themes coinciding with ten time periods to study how they influenced the design and technical features built into each vehicle. There will also be a garage space at the exhibition and a Photocall area with vehicles from the collection.
Children under 4 will be allowed to enter free of charge when accompanied by an adult.
Once a show has started, and out of respect for the rest of the audience and performers, members of the audience will only be allowed to enter or return to the room during intermissions, if any.
